Assessment and Advocacy

Assessment, advice & advocacy are critical to addressing and preventing homelessness. Identifying and matching needs to services requires good quality information exchange between agencies and the protocols to support it. Utilising probationary or introductory tenancies to ensure good preventative arrangements are in place offers housing management a powerful tool. Anti social behaviour agreements and orders provide further opportunities to ensure effective housing management but there are also other responses available for those who are anti-social but also vulnerable through Supporting People, Health and Social Care services.

Below is a link to our assessment tool designed by our Director, Helen Cash, published and promoted by the Home Office as good practice for addressing housing needs of those in the criminal justice system.
